Reading chapters 11 through 13, i was wondering why Huck didn't tell Mrs. Judith Loftus the truth instead of lying to her again. She said she would keep his secret and she wouldn't tell anyone. She even said her and her old man would help him if he wanted them to, so why didn't Huck just tell her what really happened?
My main take away from these chapters would be although Huck and Jim were in quite of a fix at the wreck, Huck stuck in there and found a way to get JIm and him out of the situation without getting caught or getting hurt. Even though it was stupid of them to lose their raft and get stuck at the wreck in the first place.
My overall thought of these chapters are kind of mixed. I somewhat liked it because of the intensity in chapter 13. You didn't know what was going to happen to Huck and Jim, they could have easily been spotted and killed if either of the two made a mistake.
Other than chapter 13, the rest of it was kind of a bore because it was mostly Huck and Mrs. Judith Loftus talking, and then it was just Huck and Jim escaping before they could be found
