I didn't like chapters 34 through 37 because it was all the same thing. It was just Huck and Tom trying to steal Jim back from Silas Phelps's plantation. I just thought the chapters were boring and not fun to read. They at least could have made them a little more interesting for the reader to read.
The question i have for these chapters is why didn't they just take the easy way out and take the piece of wood off the window and just have Jim climb through instead going through all that work just to get the same result in the end. It just doesn't make sense and it's really stupid of Tom for thinking of that. If i were Huck i would have told Tom that we were going to do my plan because it's way easier and there's less risk of getting caught by somebody.
My main take away from these chapters would be, when in doubt, take the easy way out. It is a lot better than going along with the harder plan and it's less hassle for you. Plus it lessens your chances of getting caught by somebody.
