I thought that these chapters were a pretty easy read, but they didn't quite appeal to me that much. I feel like as the book progresses on it loses interest.
The question I have is, why is Tom going through so much to make sure that Jim is like a stereotypical prisoner????? I feel as if it's sooo much work to go through all trouble when all you are going to do is break him out anyway, so what's the point? It would have been so much easier to just break him out right away, rather than wait this entire time to follow through with a plan that isn't even necessary.
A take away would be if you're going to follow through with a plan, make sure that there is no holes in the plan and make sure that you don;t get caught or seem too suspicious.
